However, a January exit remains difficult, particularly given the manager's reliance on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

This Welsh forward has had starting opportunities limited at Tottenham this term. Despite being the club's leading goalscorer the previous campaign, Johnson has begun just a handful of league games. It is understood the London outfit is open to a transfer for the right valuation, believed to be in the region of £40 million. Bournemouth appear to be leading the chase, with Aston Villa, Brentford, and Crystal Palace also credited with an inquiry.

This Portugal midfielder might be poised for a return to the English top flight following a period in the Saudi Pro League. Now only 28, while his contract ending in the summer, he is a possible opportunity. Teams like Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the player. Additionally, there have been rumours from Spanish media that he is willing to take a reduced salary for a move to Real Madrid.

M. ter Stegen

The veteran German shot-stopper is now as the third option at Barça following the coach Hansi Flick. After lost his place and had surgery, a January exit seems highly probable. Aston Villa were once linked as a possible destination, but that move now appears off. Instead, interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey are thought to be showing interest in the 33-year-old.

Ivan Toney

This proven English striker has kept scoring regularly in the Middle East. A return to the Premier League might enhance his fading hopes of being in the national squad.
